
The Samsung “Duo HD”, model BD-UP5000, will be able to support Blu-ray and HD DVD discs, including their “interactive technologies” such as HDi and BD-Java. That gives them an advantage over some existing hybrid players, and gives them full support across all known and forthcoming HD media. The BD-UP5000 will also debut in time for the holidays.

Introduced at the 3GSM conference in Barcelona, the F520's three-inch, 262,000-color touch screen and Flash-powered user interface represents the latest salvo in the touch-screen battle (besides the F700, we've also seen the LG KE850 "Prada" phone and, of course, the upcoming Apple iPhone).
