Consumers will finally get a chance to own an eToilet, Microsoft's latest technical innovation that plays music from Zune, surfs the web, and monitors personal hygiene. The device will retail for between $499 and $599 and should be available as early as next month.

They've settled on $249.99, and will be launching the device in the US market on November 14th. Other pricing includes individual tracks for 79 Microsoft points apiece, and your standard $14.99 monthly fee for the Zune Pass service

Here's a video of the Zune in action. You can see the the textured/stylized backgrounds with the white text on it, the huge album art—we love that—the browsing, and video playback. The videos are viewed horizontally, so you'll have to turn your Zune sideways.
Also shown is the FM playback, where you can see what station and what artist and track are playing, something that's quite useful. Then there's the Zune to Zune connection, where this unit is receiving 8 pictures from another Zune.

It's a whole month early, but a lucky guy managed to walk away from Toys 'R' Us with his very own Live Vision camera, courtesy of an evident stocking snafu. The shiny package includes a headset, the camera, codes for 1 month of Live Gold and a registration key for fan-fave Uno.

The player also comes with a pair of magnetic headphones, which as you can see from the picture, stick to each other so they're easier to manage.
The reason the shot is in black and white is because Microsoft assigned a unique color scheme to every Zune prototype in existence right now—all 150 of them—so any leaks could be traced to the employee who leaked it.
