The iPlayer comes in a small densely packed box, containing the iplayer itself along with the remote, RF cable, Scart cable, a long network cable, power cable, quick start instruction sheet and the CD containing the user manual in PDF format and Microsoft's Windows Media Connect software. Sharp is bring a Blu-ray to the home-theater in a box crowd in a big way - $3,000 big. The player comes with two speakers (bring your own sub) that create a virtual surround sound by employing top mounted drivers that are floating on gel to create "rip-in-the-water effect." Sony presented this morning their latest HDD and DVD (supporting HD for recording) media recorders, including the RDZ-D900A (400GB and DL burner), the RDZ-D800 (400GB and DL burner), and the RDZ-D700 (250GB and DL burner). These 3 media recorders also have a digital and analog TV tuner. They all have pretty much the same features, except the RDZ-900A, equipped with HDMI, an iLINK HDV connector and USB port.
