Maxian E900T is a multi-functional personal media player from Korea. Lately we’ve seen a lot of new gadgets with similar features from Korea but Maxian E900T at least has a slightly different form factor. It has a 4.3″ TFT touch screen, but also features interface buttons on each side.

It comes in two versions - 30GB and 60GB - and it has support for almost any multimedia file you can think of. It even has a memory slot that accepts SD cards, and a Li-Ion battery that has 4000mAh capacity which is unheard of for a portable media player....

The world would be a much happier place if we could all get along and all the wars would see their end. But who would think something as cute as Hello Kitty would be on such an unlikely object such as a rifle?! According to the designer: "in the "spirit" of the California Assault Weapon Ban I decided to do my best to alleviate the fears of my fellow citizens and gun-banning legislators when I put together a new AR-15 for my wife."

Just imagine anyone using this in a real war. I bet the enemies would run with their tails between their legs...

At the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) trade show in Denver, a company promoting a new high-definition optical disc format demonstrated set-top players and high-definition movies that cost far less than ones that use the competing Blu-ray Disc or HD DVD formats. The only faux pas: Arriving late to a two-party format war that consumers are already reluctant to support.

Next month, New Medium Enterprises' 1080p set-top players, which use the HD VMD (Versatile Multilayer Disc) format, will go on sale on Amazon.com...

Sophia Mobile has stepped up to challenge Jobs' creation with a device called the Nani.

In Japanese, "nani" (literally translated means "what?") is usually what you'd say to someone taking on Cupertino's favorite hippie-mogul. But Nani has a few things going for it: a large, 4.3-inch touchscreen (yes, a touchscreen!), video playback at 800 x 400 pixels, a MicroSD card slot, Wi-Fi capability, a camera and a TV tuner.
